Our passion is creating outstanding ciders and perries using traditional, low-tech methods and only pure fruit juice from unsprayed orchards. Apart from a small amount of sugar nothing is added - no sulphites, no artificial yeasts and no chemicals - just the best fruit sourced locally, then pressed, allowed to ferment naturally and mature slowly.
Every Autumn we meet with the friends of Prior's Tipple at our cider barn in the Worcestershire village of Cleeve Prior. Fruit is first gathered by hand from the neglected orchards of the surrounding villages before being pressed on our traditional man powered screw press. The naturally occurring wild yeasts can then begin the slow process of fermentation, giving each batch a unique flavour. Although not certified organic, our cider is made using 100% undiluted apple juice from unsprayed orchards making it a pure and natural product. We have revived ciders and perries that have been enjoyed in The Vale for generations.
Both available in bottles or as a draught product. Bottles are carbonated to give a refreshing fizz. We currently supply outlets including pubs restaurants, delicatessens and farm shops and also private customers for parties or personal consumption.

We provide complete orchard services from planting and tree selection to pruning and orchard management. We are currently carrying out various orchard restoration projects across the region, preserving these valuable - and in many cases ancient - sites.
