
Every Autumn, the friends of Prior's Tipple meet in a barn in the Worcestershire village of Cleeve Prior, on the edge of the Vale of Evesham. Here we use our traditional hand press on the mixture of dessert, culinary and cider fruit, collectively gathered from the neglected old orchards of surrounding villages.
We have revived a cider enjoyed in the Vale for generations and by continuing to use this fruit we are ensuring that these beautiful wildlife habitats remain intact for future generations to enjoy. We are also replanting trees of local varieties in partnership with the local heritage trust to make sure this age old tradition continues.
Unlike most other ciders Prior’s Tipple is made without any chemicals or sulphates, from 100% pure apple juice. It is lightly carbonated and a small amount of sugar is added when bottling to balance the natural acidity of the cider. It has an abv of 6.5%.
Our loyal customers tell us they have become disillusioned with the chemical filled mass-produced ciders, and they are ready to embrace a local, wholesome product, made sustainably with a very small carbon foot print which, above all, is the most delicious cider they have ever tasted!

We are a small family business producing our duty limit of 7000 litres per year and we are looking for new outlets to help make our venture a success.
Our main product is our bottle cider, however we also make a draught cider and perry. Please contact us for further details on these products. Prior’s Tipple is currently being sold at pubs, hotels, restaurants, delicatessens and farm shops.
